We offer 2 types of shoutcast server, unlike most hosts that only offer a few packages of one type. Firstly we offered shared which shares resources of several shoutcast servers on the same physical system. The second is dedicated node which gives you your own set of resources that won't be hogged by any other shoutcasts, it also gives you a dedicated IP which means you get to use port 8000.
A shared server is fine if your just starting out but for the real DJ a dedicated node will be a dream come true
